The City of Florence Design Review Board approved renovations to 183 South Coit Street on July 12, 2007. After some time has passed, renovations to the interior and exterior have nearly been completed. The building, which sits at the corner of South Coit and West Cheves Streets, across from the Florence-Darlington Tech Health Sciences Campus, is in the Downtown Central District (D-2). Once the project has been completed, the building will be used for commercial office space.
