City Grill & Sports Bar: Grand Opening
New Grill and Sports Bar will boost downtown growth
Thomas Mitchell and Earl Muldrow proudly announce the grand opening of their Florence, South Carolina operation, City Grill & Sports Bar on January 18, 2008. The business will be the first establishment in the downtown area to combine sports, good food, and fun in a welcome and inclusive atmosphere.
The City Grill & Sports bar will be open six days a week, serving a variety of grilled foods and drinks. The Grill & Bar will host events for local sports teams, alumni groups, charities, and special events. The sports bar will feature events such as a Super Bowl party and will be a great spot for friends to gather, relax, and enjoy a few drinks and a variety of grilled food (Click here for menu).
The grill & bar is conveniently located at 147 W. Evans Street, Florence, South Carolina, in the heart of downtown. The grill hours are Monday-Friday, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm and Saturday, 5:00 pm-10:00 pm; the bar hours are Monday-Friday, 11:00 am-11:00 pm, and Saturday 5:00 pm – 12:00 am.
The downtown revitalization effort in Florence is well underway and continues to move forward with catalyst projects involving commercial, retail and office space. In addition to projects that help renew the area, the City of Florence and the Florence Downtown Development Corporation (FDDC) also continuously work to build public and private partnerships that further facilitate the Downtown Revitalization Strategy. Tommy and Earl being apart of that rebirth, said they are proud to be pioneers of the revitalization in Downtown Florence.
