The Design Review Board is a board of members appointed by City Council that includes design professionals, downtown merchants and City residents. The board was formed to administer the Design Guidelines, which outline optimum urban design principles used to aesthetically enhance the Downtown Redevelopment District.
Projects reviewed by the Board include:

Design concept and layout of new construction

Renovation of existing structures

Demolition of structures

Replacement and/or addition of signage

Removal and/or change of landscaping
The Board meets the second Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, Room 604 of the City-County Complex.
