– Florence Downtown Development Corporation welcomes newest downtown business – Atlantic Executive Storage. Atlantic Executive Storage is a storage facility conveniently located in downtown Florence on Baroody Street, right behind the Pee Dee Speech and Hearing office. Will Brennan, Partner, with the company, said they saw a need for companies wanting local storage and a need for someone to renovate some downtown buildings. “We know our customer base will mainly be downtown businesses. There is quite a demand out there. We looked around and saw this building and the potential it had. If you could have seen this place before we started cleaning and renovating, you would be shocked at the difference” said Will. In fact, a picture of the former state of the building hangs inside. What stands there now is quite the contrast – very clean and modern. Atlantic Executive Storage has indoor units that are climate controlled and have 24 hour access. The 104 storage bays are high quality and vary in sizes. The smallest is a 5x5 and rents for $50 per month. The largest units are 10x15 and rent for just $142 per month. Justin Hardee, another Partner, said, “I know security is the biggest feature for anyone who is storing their goods and we have installed the best.” In fact, everywhere you turn inside and out, there is a camera and an alarm. Pest control is also provided. This Thursday they will be hosting a Chamber Business After Hours.
