FDDC stands for the Florence Downtown Development Corporation. FDDC is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization established in 2002 for the purpose of revitalizing Downtown Florence. It is led by a 21-member Board of Directors and 3 staff employees. With the help of City of Florence resources and private partnerships, FDDC has achieved accomplishments to date such as completing a master plan for revitalization, securing availble space for commercial redevelopment, aiding in numerous development projects, and obtaining funding for and executing streetscape and beautification projects.
