"Want More" Artist Talk and Closing Reception

Impulsive acquisitions, giving and receiving, a sense of what is deserved, owed, and only right. Want / More elevates surfaces into seductive invitations and mysterious points of inquiry. Through repetitive investigations of motives and materials, objects are offered up to be scrutinized, quantified, and assigned value.

Myles Calvert and Tamara LaValla, both previously shown as solo artists, have collaborated for Want / More in order to contrast their own ideals when creating works. Connecting everything with a single, vibrant hue, Calvert and LaValla create a visual awareness and objectivity.

The artist talk and reception will be held March 7th, starting at 5:30 PM.
