Family Day - Watercolor Batiks

Join the Florence County Museum on Saturday, 8/8, from 1pm to 3pm for Family Day – Beautiful Watercolor Batiks: Experiment with wax-resist techniques to reveal bold textures and vibrant contrasts. Create a paper batik design of your own, capturing summer memories using patterns, bold lines, and symbols to tell your own story.  Batik is a traditional African textile process that uses wax and dyes to create resist patterns.
